ALEXANDER LEBEDINSKI
Alexander Lebedinski concentrates his practice in the
areas of corporate and international law, business
transactions and immigration law.
International Law and Business Transactions:
Alexander assists foreign and international companies with
investing and establishing operations in the U.S. He
prepares, negotiates and implements contracts for
international supply, joint venture, agency and
distributorship relationships. He prepares, reviews and
negotiates terms and conditions for sale of goods and
service agreements in the automotive and other industries.
He has represented clients from Russia, Japan, Germany,
Great Britain, India, Brazil, Canada and Ukraine.
Corporate Law and Compliance:
Alexander assists clients with selecting, forming and administering legal entities, including profit and non-profit corporations, limited liability companies and professional service entities. He develops successful business planning strategies, prepares bylaws, operating agreements, buy-sell agreements and other corporate documents, and handles asset and stock purchase and sale transactions.
Alexander also assists employers with Form I-9 employment eligibility verification compliance matters, and advises healthcare providers on State and Federal compliance with HIPAA, STARK prohibitions on self-referral and the Anti-kickback Statute.
Immigration Law:
Alexander assists international and U.S. employers, both established and start-ups, with selecting and obtaining employment visas and employment-based permanent residence (Green Card) for business executives, investors, professionals and their families. He advises corporate and individual clients on various U.S. visa and immigration compliance matters.
He also develops and implements strategies for sponsoring family members for permanent residence based on marriage or other family ties, and handles petitions to remove conditions on permanent residence, applications for U.S. naturalization and other related matters.
Selected Transactions include:
- Assisted a European automotive OEM in all phases of
timely and successful launch of a new vehicle program
in Russia
- Developed Terms and Conditions for a European
automotive OEM for its purchasing activity in the United
States
- On behalf of an automotive OEM, negotiated and
finalized long term supply contracts and tooling
contracts with over 70 suppliers
- Successfully negotiated and implemented out of court
settlements with over 30 suppliers, while preserving the
relationships, ensuring uninterrupted vehicle production,
and saving a substantial amount of money to the client
- Obtained L-1A intracompany transferee and E-2 treaty
investor visas for foreign business executives and
managers of established and start up companies
While in law school, Mr. Lebedinski was the Vice
President of his class, was on the Moot Court, and was
selected to The Order of the Barrister.
