ROBERT B. WEBSTER
Mr. Webster specializes in civil litigation, family law and alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation. Since his departure from the bench in 1982, he has handled a wide variety of complex matters including securities, litigation, employment and governmental matters. In addition to his litigation activities, he is experienced in governmental affairs and municipal law matters.
Experience:
Bob is a former 6th Circuit Oakland County Judge (1973-1982, Chief Judge 1977). In 1993, he received the Roberts P. Hudson Award for service to the Bar and the State of Michigan. He is Director of the American Judicature Society and National Commissioner on Uniform State Laws. Bob is a member of the American Law Institute; a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and a Member of the House of Delegates; a member of the Michigan Bar Foundation; Co-chair, State Bar Committee on Courts in the 21st Century, Judicial Qualifications Committee; Chair, State Officers Compensation Commission, State Bar of Michigan Past Presidents Advisory Council; and Fellow American College of Trial Lawyers.
Bob is the chairman of Horizon Health Systems, a multi-hospital affiliate of Henry Ford Health Systems, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Henry Ford Health Systems.
